European Night Crawlers are a species of medium to large sized earthworms that are slowly taking over worm farms around the world. In fact, it’s believed that in the future, European Night Crawlers will become more popular than Red Wigglers.
 
All shipments go out on Monday and Tuesday.

  • We offer a live guarantee for our worm shipments only if the following criteria is met:

    • You must be home to receive the worms or notify us to add a "Hold at Post Office" notice to the package.
    • We do not guarantee a live delivery if they are left in a mailbox or on the porch, so please let your postmaster know you are expecting them.
    • We must receive notification of a dead shipment within two hours of delivery with an accompanying video or images emailed to nusoilcastings@gmail.com with the subject line DEAD WORMS RECEIVED.
    • NO refund will be giving for Worms if they arrive dead, we will only replace them once.
    • If your shipping address changes after you place the order, it’s your responsibility to notify us immediately before shipping or the live guarantee is void.
    • There are no refunds for worm shipments.

    HOW WE SHIP

    • We ship via USPS Priority Mail; All orders will be shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays. Must have orders in by Friday at 5pm central time to make the Tuesday shipment date. Any order after 5pm Friday will ship the following week.
    • Your worms will usually be delivered within 2 -3 days anywhere in the continental United States once shipped.
    • Our system will send out an email with tracking information within 12 hours of shipment if you provide an email when you place your order online. Please keep an eye out for this email.
    • Our worms are packaged in breathable bags and shipped in a cardboard shipping box. They are clearly marked LIVE WORMS.
    • Your worms will be bagged in dry peat moss. They may be smaller and slightly dehydrated to some extent. Please rehydrate your worms and let them rest for an hour.
    • We reserve the right to withhold shipments due to extreme weather.

  • It is impossible to guarantee 100% pure worm species with any type of composting worms. We have not received any complaints of cross contamination but there is always a chance of receiving a few "different " species in your order. These "other" species are usually also great composters. To date we have not received any complaints on this issue, but it does happen in the worm industry. While we raise Red wigglers and European nightcrawlers ourselves there may be times when we must restock our own inventory and could possibly receive a mixed batch, its rare but does happen time to time.
